Design Services
- Wheelwright Consultants reviewed plans for a multi-story museum, which
while not a children’s museum was expecting many children and
mothers with children. Our evaluation suggested that the number and
placement of restroom facilities, while meeting code, would be inadequate
for the visitation level, a fact verified by discussion with potential
visitors.
- Wheelwright Consultants was asked to handle the design and installation
of a café as part of the museum’s renovation. The space
allocated had no running water, no ventilation, and insufficient electrical
capacity, but with allowances from the Health Department these issues
were overcome and the café was installed on time and under budget.
